Spox: Russia, UK understand need to boost business coop

MOSCOW, Jun 28 (PRIME) -- Russia and the U.K. understand there is a need to boost business cooperation through new formats, the Kremlin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Friday after President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May.

Putin and May met on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Japan’s Osaka and first discussed the Skripal case, Peskov said.

“Further, the topics of mutual trade, trade and economic relations were touched upon in an expanded composition. There is an understanding of the need to work out a format for reviving this interaction in the interests of the business of the two countries,” he said.
